Crochet Owl Hat set

I made these last year and haven't blogged about them. Probably because I actually never got to really wear them as it was such a mild winter !



I also made a matching Cardigan which for some reason Ive never photographed will have to do it some and pop it on here xx

    Could you give any tips on how to make this? I don't crochet but have someone willing to try to make it for me to give to my mother in law. She said the pic isn't clear enough for her to tell how you did the owls. She said it looks like you used a smaller hook but she can't tell for sure. Any hints you could give? It is a beautiful unique hat!!
